Mama Meal Drop

After a long labor and intense delivery, a warm, nourishing meal is one of the best ways for mom to regain strength and feel supported. I will start preparing food after receiving notice that Mom is in labor and deliver it any time day or night after baby is born. This is a great option regardless of where Mom is giving birth – hospitals often don’t have food available overnight, birth centers may or may not provide a meal, and even after a home birth, the family will be busy taking care of mom and baby and it may be difficult to step away and prepare good food. Alternatively, we can schedule the meal for any time in the first two weeks after birth. Please see the Services page for more details and to view a sample menu.
